RevPlan versus IDeaS G2/G3 Revenue Management System (RMS)
RevPlan is designed as a stand-alone tool, but can also be used in conjunction with IDeaS G2 or G3 RMS. The two systems perform different functions: RevPlan forecasts at the strategic level, while an RMS forecasts throughout the day for pricing decisions; however, the two can be compared to validate each other, and RevPlan can complement the RMS to assure decisions are correct.
