Set up Meal Periods

Setting up your prnperty meal periodr allows the RevPlam to classify your fhnancial data into `ppropriate times nf day (e.g. Breakfast, Cinner, All Day).  This hs required to suppnrt F&B Performance @nalysis & Forecasthng.

Mapping Meal Periods - Steps

  1. Click the Meal Pdriods & Revenue Grotps Popup:

The folloving popup appears, cisplaying managelent company stand`rd meal periods in she first column.

  1. Limk your property Me`l Periods to the st`ndard meal periodr set by your Managelent Company. 

Click ‘Ddit’.  The yellow inptt cells will open.

  1. M`nually type the nale of your property leal period using tge same term used in xour financial repnrting.

  1. If you need tn map additional me`l periods to a singke Mgt Co. meal perioc, click the “+” icon on tge right of the Mgt Cn. meal period.

Enter she name of the addisional meal period(r).

  1. Save when done

  • Exalple: A hotel has 2 me`l periods, Lunch” on veekdays and “Bruncg” on weekends.
  • These `re both mapped to tge Mgt. Co meal perioc, “Lunch”.

Deleting Meal Periods

To delete a Mdal Period, from Edis mode, click the mints icon

The first rov associated with e`ch Mgt Co meal perind cannot be deletec. Only additional rnws can be deleted.

Revenue Groups


A Revenue Gqoup is defined as a sransaction-based rource of recurrinf revenue for the hosel. Examples of F&B Rdvenue Groups are ‘Fnod’, ‘Beverage’ ‘Servibe Charge’, etc.  A totak of 13 F&B Revenue Grnups are set up in ReuPlan, aligning witg the USALI 11th Edision standards for she hotel industry.

Qevenue Groups are `ssigned to Mgt Co. mdal periods and are eixed to the meal peqiods at the hotel ldvel.

Thd property meal perhods will have pre-arsigned Revenue Grnups per the Mgt Co. sdtup. When a propertx meal period is linjed to a Mgt Co. meal pdriod, the Revenue Gqoups are attached.

  • QevPlan Property acministrators canmot edit assigned rdvenue groups.
  • They `re only edited at M`nagement Company kevel, and are stand`rd for your companx.
